Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my ponderings. Hope you have a nice stay!

The Polar Express (2004)

The Polar Express (2004)

There comes a time in school where the teacher says those magical words “We’re watching a film” and that is how I first watched this first. Over the course of a couple RE lessons my teacher Mr Tubbs showed us this magical Christmas films and I fell in love with this film. I love it in Christmas films where they make someone a Believer, I think it is what Christmas is all about, The Polar Express does this by using a bell, I don’t want to say too more if for whatever strange reason you haven’t seen this film. Tom Hanks is the star of this film and he makes this film what it is so good, Tom Hanks voices multiple Characters and makes them feel like their own individual. I also want to mention how good the animation is, I love animated films and TV Shows but the Polar Express’s animation is on a whole other level with all the “action” scenes it has. I have seen this film so many times since that first fateful encounter with it during a RE lesson and I think this is one of those modern classic Christmas films.
